LEGACY CONTENT UPDATE 3.1.0H - THE SPOOKY SKELETON UPDATE
It's Halloween again, so it's about time for a new Spooky Update!

CHANGES
  • Added the Spooky Skeleton encounter.
  • Added 2 new currency items that drop from the Spooky Skeleton encounter, which give you access to the Spooky Soulforge.
  • Added 3 new unique items that can be acquired from the Spooky Soulforge.

NEW ENCOUNTER DETAILS
Slaying enemies will have a 1% chance to spawn the Spooky Skeleton, who will flee from players but can occasionally attack. The skeleton will be active for 30 seconds before disappearing... for now... Defeating him before he vanishes will reward players with new currency items: The Spooky Skull and the Golden Skull (in higher leveled areas). Difficulty and drops will scale based on the zone you are in, as shown below:

Early Zones (Paleon - Atlas)
Skeleton health: 10,000♥
Drops:
  • 1-8x Spooky Skull (100%)

Rifts
Skeleton health: 100,000♥
Drops:
  • 9-18x Spooky Skull (100%)
  • 1x Golden Skull (10%)

Omniplex
Skeleton health: 1,000,000♥
Drops:
  • 12-24x Spooky Skull (100%)
  • 1-3x Golden Skull (100%)

NEW ITEMS
3 new unique items have been added in this update, each obtainable for a total of 128x Spooky Skulls and 32x Golden Skulls.

The Gourd Sword (Unique)
Weapon (Melee - Sword)
  • Sharpness M
  • Deals 1000-2000 damage.
  • While you do not have Regeneration:
    • Your attacks inflict Ignite.
    • Gain Haste X for 9.0 seconds every 10.0 seconds.
  • While you do not have Saturation:
    • Your attacks inflict Hunger X.
    • Gain Speed X for 9.0 seconds every 10.0 seconds.

Bone Hurting Juice (Unique)
Flask
  • Cooldown: 15 seconds
  • Upon use:
    • Gain EVERY negative potion effect for 10.0 seconds.
    • Removes ALL positive effects including Resistance V.

Raven's Writ (Unique)
Accessory Item (Off Hand)
  • +40.0♥ maximum health.
  • 10% chance to inflict Despair.
  • While you are affected by Despair, enemies you hit take 0.5% of their maximum health as physical damage per second for 3.0s.
  • You cannot be Slowed or Frozen.

In addition, skulls can also be exchanged for Runes, with a Spooky Skull being worth 10 Runes and a Golden Skull being worth 700 Runes.

Pizza, also known as Sir Ratinger McHazel III Esquire, is the webmaster, lead developer, and chief clown of the Aryntius Network.

Spawnrate increased to 2% (from 1%)

Rifts
Spawnrate increased to 3% (from 1%)
Golden Skull drop chance increased to 50% (from 10%).
Golden Skull drop yield increased to 1-5 (from 1).

Omniplex
Spawnrate increased to 4% (from 1%)
Spooky Skull drop yield increased to 24-48 (from 12-24).
Golden skull drop yield increased to 2-8 (from 1-3).
